We are planting enough trees in a local reforestation project to remove the carbon emissions for every student’s attendance at this event*
As well as removing CO2, these trees will help create new Mabi forest habitat for the rare Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo and other unique species native to Tropical North Queensland.

Workshops and presentations are curriculum mapped. Cairns and FNQ is a leading edu-tourism destination offering endless curriculum mapped touring options outside of the classroom. Many students have missed out on their hands on learning opportunities during covid including being able to complete their Duke of Edinburgh and Round Square projects.
