Smart Green Economy Student Conference

Expression of Interest

Great Barrier Reef Academy brings you the Smart Green Economy Student Conference.

‘Proudly supported by the Advance Queensland initiative.’

Expressions of interest are now open to attend the inaugural Smart Green Economy Student Conference

The Smart Green Economy student conference brings together students currently studying or sincerely passionate about sustainability and the Green agenda. Speakers and internationally renowned speakers will inspire, engage and create conversation amongst attendees.

Facilitators and speakers will include amongst many more: Straw No More, Molly Steers; Turtle Whisperer Jennie Gilbert, Reef Restoration CEO, Ryan Donnelly; Climate Force Founder, Barney Swan; President of the Circular Economy, Irene Pollack and Founder of the World’s Largest Garage Sale, Yasmine Grigaliunas.  The conference will finish with a challenge for the students to develop a legacy piece for the Smart Green Economy agenda that is achievable by students, globally.

During the 2 days, students will also participate in Questagame, the world’s first game where players help save life on earth; become citizens of the Great Barrier Reef AND contribute to the regeneration of the world heritage rainforest.

The two day conference is proudly supported by Advance Queensland.

Early bird rate is $450.00 / student and the 5 night / 6 day summer camp option starts at $1350.00 / student.
